The getting-ready process before a wedding can be similar to getting ready for a musical on opening night. There is so much excitement and laughter, but also special moments that you will want to remember.

It is not often that a whole family gets together and is all dressed up, which makes family photos a perfect opportunity. We all organize a list of all the different groups that you want photos of. I will use that list on wedding day to make family photos easy and efficent.

Leading up to the wedding, you have thought about color schemes, flowers, and all the little details. Getting to see all those hours of planning come together is amazing, and it deserves to be photographed. This table scape was goregous and I will never stop taling about it.

Time for just you two to steal away from everyone else and capture how good you look! During your engagement session, I learned your preferred and most flattering poses and style. This is a time to have fun and maybe smooch a bit ;)

Whether it's in the beautiful Hocking Hills or your backyard, I will make sure to capture each moment, laugh, and tear. It is so special to be the first one to congratulate the newlyweds after they have made their way back up the aisle.

Hottake: Candids are most successful when people are having a good time.
If you have people who are grumpy and bored, they are obviously not going to look happy in pictures.
Three ways to get good candids
Invite people who you actually enjoy their company
Be a good host - plan things for your guests to do. There is nothing worse than a cocktail hour that is 3 hours long.
Don't panic when you see I am taking your picture (Guests, this goes for you too)

If you read my about section, you will see that I love dancing! I will be right there in the middle of the dance floor with you. You might not remember this part of the reception, but my camera will.
